Hello and thank you for contacting me, Thom MacFarlane, your Mortgage Banker-Broker. I appreciate the opportunity to serve you. The majority of my business is generated by personal referral from My entire career has been with the field of mortgage lending. I am a now a Mortgage Banker – Broker with Spectra Funding, a national mortgage banking firm headquartered here in San Diego County. Previously I owned and operated Security InterBank Mortgage, a professional mortgage brokerage, for 15 years. For the prior 15 years and presently, I have blessed to work with my Knowledgeable friends & peers in the same location/same office. The name has changed, but not the service or personnel. Prior to opening and operating Security InterBank Mortgage in 1996 I served as an Regional Account Manager with Home Savings of America and prior to that I originated home loans and apartment loans with both Home Savings and Coast Federal Savings. My depth of experience is a valuable asset in the effective counseling of new and existing mortgage clients. My affiliation with Spectra Funding, a direct lender, means we make our own lending decisions and fund loans in our own name. This allows us to provide swifter and better service levels. At Spectra Funding we offer a full range of mortgage products including conventional home loans plus FHA and VA home loans. We also offer "Jumbo" home loans and maintain specialties with first-time buyer loans and Reverse Mortgage loans for seniors. We are here to help!
